Why is my apple pie top crust all soggy?
I had an apple pie recipe that instructs to "pour" the syrup over the lattice crust. After a few mins, the top of the pie is very soggy and sort of foamy. Did I make a mistake on pouring the syrup or was the crust too moist in the first place?
