Tattoo looks soggy looking?

i just got a new tattoo 2 days ago and for the first day i used savlon ( which i learned wasnt any good ) and read that bepanthen was good for new tattoos so i used that twice yesterday and once this morning till i use it later on today and my tattoo looks soggy or mushy looking and is a little sticky also i can just about see VERY small almost dot like scabs that are just about showing up ............ so is that normal ?
